Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14)
Key Stage 3 is the first three years (Years 7, 8 and 9) of secondary education. During those three years, students set the pace for work at GCSE level, so they are an important part of academic life that often get overlooked.
Our classes for Key Stage 3 are designed to ensure that students grasp the new topics they are learning and to help build their confidence and fill in any gaps or weaknesses in their knowledge. The lessons are tailored to the new Key Stage 3 National Curriculum.
We treat every child by their ability (instead of age) which enables us to either stretch them to more advance levels or give them the tutoring and support required to catch up with their peers.

HOMEWORK, ASSESSMENT & PROGRESS
Each week we set around 30 mins homework per lesson, which reinforces the skills learnt in class. Homework is marked in class and corrections are made before starting new work. Exams are set every six weeks to see how much of the topics covered has been understood.
